The farm store sells premium-quality organic produce from Atlas Farm, plus tons of other goodies from farms and producers nearby. Everything we sell in the store is grown or produced within a 200-mile radius, reducing our transportation footprint and offering you the freshest food around — not to mention supporting our neighbors and bolstering our local food economy!
About us.
The Atlas Farm Store opened its doors in 2013 when farmer Gideon Porth acquired the land on which the store sits. Since then, we’ve sold zillions of bunches of kale (yep, that’s an exact count), literal tons of tomatoes, and plenty of local milk and cheese.
In 2022, the farm store took its first steps as a separate business and Gideon turned his focus to production. Now the two operations work as close partners, still offering the same beautiful produce, with longtime store staff members steering the ship.
Meet our Vendors.
We’re proud to carry products from 200 local producers. Our vendors include cooperative pickle-makers, hot pepper farmers, bicycle-powered soapsmiths, and many, many more. Even better, we’ve tried everything on the shelf to make sure we love it. We hope you enjoy getting to know these folks as much as we do!
